API 650 - Welded Tanks for Oil Storage
API 650, Welded Tanks for Oil Storage, is a standard developed and published by the American Petroleum Institute (API) that establishes minimum requirements for the design, fabrication, erection, and inspection of welded storage tanks. This standard only applies to tanks with uniformly supported bottoms and to tanks in non-refrigerated service that have a maximum design temperature of 93 degrees Celcius (200 degrees Fahrenheit) or less.
